Tutorial: Pink Clarins Eye look

With this eye tutorial I used the Clarins Eye Palette and Collection 2000 Eye Liner on my eyes. It is a really cute pinky look if you don't want to look like you have tried too hard but if you still want to make an effort then this is the perfect look (every girl LOVES dressing up!).

How to:

First you can prime your eyes first, I didn't but some people prefer for lasting finish,
Then get the light pink on the edge of the palette and put it on your lid.
Next use the darker pink and put it on the top of the light pink and in the top corner of your eye, it makes the colour brighter but  the colours still looks not too dark!
Lastly use the Collection 2000 or any liquid eye liner and do a top lid line on your lid. You can do it on the bottom if you want the look darker, you can also make it winged but I haven't!

AND TA-DA!! A finished easy look for a day or a night out!

Review: The Only Way is Essex Eye Shadow Palette

Another review today! Today is on the The Only Way is Essex palette, this palette is one of my favorites and it really makes me think that bright colours are the way to go. I don't usually wear bright colours in my day-to-day looks however in my night looks I love wearing bright colours as they really  brighten the blue in my eyes.

There are four bright and shimmery colours contained in the palette-

Colours included:

Shimmery Ivory
Shimmery Turquoise
Shimmery Blue
Shimmery Purple

There is really wonderful packaging which states what brand is on the top. Also included is a mirror and a two end eyeshadow applicator.

I love this product, it sits well on my eyes, it stays on for up to 5 hours and has really lovely colours! I can't say anything bad on this palette really. I got it for christmas and don't know if it still will be around but you won't regret it!

Tutorial: Purple Eye make-up

Today I was going out to dinner with friends and decided on a simple purple eye make up routine to go with my outfit.

How to:

1. First I put a pea size of Boots Eye Gel on each eye to relax them,
2. Then I put on my under and upper eye cream which is the Anew clinical eye lift cream and let it soak into my eyes.
3. Then I put on a Clarins eye palette and put the two purples (one on the top corner and the other on the main lid), as there are purple colours on my top.

4. Then I drew my eye liner line with my Collection 2000 black eyeliner, I also winged it a little bit on the sides as you will see.
5. Lastly, I used Collection 2000 waterproof mascara on my eye lashes

I used the dark purple on the left in the top corner of my eye and then used the lighter purple on the main bit of my eyes and then I blended!

6. AND TA-DA!!!

Review: Superdrug Foundation Brush

So I have not got the perfect collection of brushes all perfectly shaped expensive ones studded with jewels  However I have a nice selection of a mixture of brushes from high expensive brands to normal drugstore brushes. To be honest they will definitely do me to christmas (when I think I am going to ask for a set).

But one of the best yet inexpensive brushes I own is definitely from superdrug (unexpected I know but true). The one I am talking about is the superdrug brand foundation brush, and it has served me stunningly well! Even if I get new brushes for christmas and I hope I do so I can do brushes reviews but I will keep this beauty for my bag or travelling etc.

Its bristles are really soft and it is easy to blend my foundation in as they are really versatile! I think it retails for about £5 which is awesome for a brush especially one that works as well as this one does!

I would definitely recommend this and for £5 its a keeper!

Hair Routine/ Straightners!

Hello everyone!

The hair oil I use!
I have been SO busy at the moment so sorry I havent got round to adding a blog post but here I am now so lets do it! Today I am reviewing something really close to my heart and that is my hair straighteners  I am currently using the GHD brand and totally love them! So, I never really used hair straighteners at all as they just were not my number 1 priority but for about 2 years now I have been so abscessed that my hair dresser has banned me from using them (naughty me!), however I still use them anyway!

GHD's are FAB!! They straighten SO well and leave your hair feeling and when I say soft I mean really soft! However I would recommend using heat defence as they do damage your hair after a while (I use the TRESemme heat defence) and totally love it and it has saved my hair! I also use the 'Davines' oil for damaged hair when I get out of the shower and the bath and just run it through my hair. I will also use a pea size while I dry my hair. TIP: I use heat defence while I dry my hair as well! It works really well!

My ghd's!!!
So, after I go through the tiring yet effective routine I straighten my hair and this keeps it straight and soft without it becoming out of control (which it has a tendency to do!)!

Heat Protection Spray!!
I love them and I would so recommend them, they are kind of pricey so if you want them then go ahead if you are not sure think about it but I highly rate them a 5/5!!
