M.I.F: Decorative Tea Light Holder

Another week has past so I have another M.I.F for you! This week I wanted to think it up myself! I know they have already been done before, but I have put my own touch on a classic DIY project! Today I have make a really sweet Tea Light holder that would look great in any room as you can personalise it right through the instructions!

1. First I got all the items I needed for this project!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

A Tea Light (you can find them anywhere)
A Jam Jar
Pellets or Glass Granules
Ribbon
Coloured Card or Paper
Scissors

2. I cut the card/paper to fit in the Jam Jar, this makes it look more personalised. I used pink card but you can use any colours to make it look good for you!

3. Then fill the Jar with glass pellets and wrap whatever ribbon you want round it, I used pink and red hearts to go with my bedroom!

4. Then add your Tea Light! This is the end result and really it took 5 minutes! I have put it in my room and it is burning brightly through the snowy days.

This is such a fantastic project and you can have a lot of fun creating and designing it for your own taste! The best part of this project is you can just replace the tea light every time so it will last a lifetime!

I hope you are having a great weekend!

Review: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

Have you seen the new update? If you havent check the right side bar, it is all new and somewhat delicious! I have dedicated most of the weekend to sorting out my blog, reupdating it and starting fresh, as the New Year brings happier and more successful tasks to do.

If you remember quite a long time ago I set up my Little Loves page for everyone to see what is on my wish list! Well the last item I have put in there was the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish! Well I bought it for £12.75 and I have come to you today to speak my mind on something marvellous!

It is such a fantastic product. I bought it two weeks ago so the reason I decided to wait a while was I wanted to do a full honest review (and if it worked)! I have rather combination/oily skin which can be a pain to buy products for me especially for skincare. I tried this on the first night I bought it and have never looked back.

This is what it claims on the product (which I thought better described the product than I ever could):

"A rich, concentrated cream that gently removes daily grime and make-up, even stubborn mascara, to leave skin clear, smooth and exceptionally clean."

I totally agree with this statement as it has fufilled everything it states exceptionally.

You can buy it here!

It is a great Cleanser and I thoroughly recommend it to any skin types as it removes oil but it keeps the face hydrated for people with dry skin! I love it!

M.I.F: The Wall Print Out Calendar

I have come up with a really exciting project that I have decided to launch on my blog! I am so excited to start this and I have decided to call it:

M.I.F = Make It Fabulous

I decided to do this as part of my New Years Resolutions and if you like it then I would love the feedback! Every week I am planning to show you a craft I have found out or researched and made! It may be something small but I will do my best to provide you one every week.

I really cannot wait to get started so I wanted to show you something small that I found really fabulous on the internet!

The Wall Print Out Calendar

Have you ever felt like your walls look a bit bare but you dont want to put up a poster of some tacky band or singer? I always feel like this! Sometimes I just dont know what to put on my walls that would appeal to my eye but also give my room some jazz.

I found a little bit of my walls empty today so I decided to research a wall calendar. To be honest, I didn't really want to spend money on it and I didn't want to spend hours looking for one. As I delved into more of the DIY make it yourself calendars, this brilliant print out Calendar popped up in my search box!

It is so cute and only takes a second to print and put up. I would suggest printing it out on nice card however normal A4 paper works just fine as well. I love the designs and I commend the designer on the overall result.

So SWEET <3

Wonderful Experiences: The Royal Ballet

Happy New Year Everyone! I know I havent done a blog post since before Christmas but as I thought I wouldnt have very much to blog about I thought I would start 2013 with a ultimate experience for you! This has nothing to do with bungee jumping, jumping out of an aeroplane  climbing a mountain or doing a marathon. This is just a really lovely day out that I thought I would share with you guys. I tried to capture it all with photos so here we go, lets get started!

The Royal Ballet- The Nutcracker

Outfit I wore:

Coat ~ Zara
Blouse/Shirt ~ Topshop
Skirt ~ Topshop
Shoes ~ Topshop
Bag ~ Local Boutique (probably find a similar thing on eBay)
Gloves ~ Christmas Present

I might as well tell you the story of how going to the Royal Ballet came about, my parents surprised my sister and I just before the christmas festivities started happening by telling us that we would be going to the Royal Ballet in London! I love dance and I remember when I was about 5 or 6 I first went to the Royal Ballet with my mum and I can even remember some parts to this day! So, at ten in the morning we got on the train ready to relive those memories!

Whilst waiting to go in to the Royal Ballet we sailed round Covent Garden and I have to say it was very beautiful! The decorations still hadn't come down so it was packed with twinkling lights and colourful baubles. Sometimes I wish Christmas would last all year!

After being allowed into the exquisite auditorium I have to say it was one of the most elegant places I have ever seen, I just couldn't help snapping some of the decor that lined the chairs and the balconies! I loved the gorgeous red and the bright yellows! The curtains were long and draped and had the queens emblem on it that really made the experience more British.

As cameras were forbidden whilst the story was beginning to unfold, I couldn't really take any pictures so I am sorry about that! However when the interval came, it was still so special as it meant getting some ice cream. Now, I dont usually love ice cream in winter but if you ever go to the Royal Ballet you have to get their Belgium Chocolate Ice Cream! Even though I think the price is too high for a small pot  of ice cream, I would still call it a pot of creamy goodness. I say stuff New Years Resolutions and start on the ice cream!

Once Act 2 started up again it was back to beautiful ballet! I got so lost in it and the music was incredible, if you ever get a chance to go I know the prices are quite steep, but you wont regret it and it brings so much back if you give it a bit of your time! I dont know if I was allowed to do this but I took a couple of photos of the finale which I would love to share with you!

Once the performance was over we wandered around the theatre and came across these beautiful miniature dresses! They looked exactly like the dresses of the cast and even had the same details. I took some pictures and tell me which one you like the best?!

Overall such a fantastic day and to top it all off we go Upper Crust tea and beautifully chocolate flavoured Wispas (the diet starts tomorrow)!

Heaven in a day! I would love to know your experiences at the Royal Ballet so if you would like to contact me please comment below. Glorious day with wonderful people!
