The Newest Items We Should Get:

STRIPES!!! 

So this session of this long and rather (I am hoping?) interesting blog I will be blogging about STRIPES!! They are seriously in right now apparently! Firstly seen on the catwalk for these summer trends, they are using a wide range of stripes; Horizontal/ Vertical and Diagonal Stripes! They are worn everywhere, on the high street, on the catwalk, in shop windows and on the latest fashion setters! At the moment, teamed with a black belt, a hat or high heels they could look really really good!! Colours could vary a lot with stripes. Many catwalks use blues, red and blacks which shows a boldness against many different items of summer clothing. Really bright controversial colours which stand out against the pastels used on other clothing items are really good this year.

I would seriously think about getting some stripy items this year if you want to build up your wardrobe :) x

 

Pastels: x

So this year possibly one of the greatest years for Great Britain (everyone should know why!!) but people who don't know we have the Olympics coming up! As we have to look our best (of course!) we have more trends to keep up with than ever before! So this Summer 2012 we have to sport the latest fashions while looking trendy on the pitches. This could be the hardest trend we need to focus on as many shops have gone controversial this year rather than sticking with our original wardrobe. Before, the trends were black or bright colours, simple and old. My wardrobe had millions of either black or reds. But now their are all these pastels (baby pink, spring yellows, baby blues etc.). Don't get me wrong I literally LOVE pastels. Its just so much swapping and changing. 

 So many people ask "I can find pastels and I don't mind buying them but how do I pair pastels together with accessories? ", well its simple don't put light colours with heavy colours!!! For example, if you are big fans of summer dresses e.g. pink than maybe all you need is a white clutch! Shoes are also a key item in your outfit. Shown in the picture on the left you can maybe even get away with a lilac dress with black shoes. Many pastels have shoes with black in at the moment so set the trend in your town. WEAR THE TRENDS!
